Will The Force Be With The Ducks In Pasadena?

This week, Oregon unveiled their newest football uniforms, which they will debut in Monday's Rose Bowl Game against the Wisconsin Badgers. Sponsor Nike claims that these uniforms are "the most advanced football uniform system ever assembled."  

Many observers have drawn comparisons between the uniforms and the “Star Wars” collection of movies, due to the “Darth Vader” look of the getup.

The helmet is very cool, but the Ducks may need more than stylish apparel to beat Wisconsin. 

Oregon lost to Ohio State in the 2010 Rose Bowl and to Auburn in last season's BCS National Championship Game.  

The Ducks are a six-point favorite, but have won the Rose Bowl only once. Back in 1917, Oregon shut out the Penn Quakers 14-0. 

The Ducks and Badgers are averaging a combined 91 points per game, yet the over/under is only 71.  Both teams went 11-2 in the regular season.

Look for the Badgers to keep it close in a high-scoring contest.
