Upset Alert Recap From The College Football & NFL Weekend

Colin Kaepernick passed for 2 TD's vs SaintsOklahoma was a seven-point favorite at home in the "Bedlam" rivalry game against Oklahoma State. The Sooners never led in regulation, but won 51-48 in overtime.

Wisconsin was a three-point underdog on the road at Penn State. The Nittany Lions made their overtime field goal, while the Badgers missed theirs, in a 24-21 victory for Penn State.

PSU finished an amazing 8-4, despite all the NCAA sanctions.

Auburn was a huge 33-point underdog in the Iron Bowl at Alabama. The Crimson Tide pounded the War Eagles 49-0, the most decisive win over their archrival in 64 years.  

The loss was the final straw for Auburn, as the school elected to fire head coach Gene Chizik, just two years after he led the program to a national championship.

Number 2 Alabama now faces number 3 Georgia on Saturday, for a berth in the BCS title game against Notre Dame.

San Diego was a one-point favorite against Baltimore. The Ravens scored ten points in the fourth quarter and then kicked an overtime field goal to squeak past the Chargers 16-13.  

San Diego will need a new coach next season---will their first call go to Andy Reid or Chip Kelly?

New Orleans was a one-point home underdog versus San Francisco. Super sub Colin Kaepernick passed for two touchdowns, with the 49ers returning two interceptions for scores, as SF prevailed 31-21, in a very hostile environment.
