Georgia exploded for 32 second half points, ruining the SEC debut of Missouri 41-20. The Tigers were a two-point favorite at home.
We liked the 70 1/2 points and Savannah State at Florida State. The Seminoles raced out to a 48-0 halftime lead. The game was then officially postponed in the third quarter, after two delays for lightning, with FSU leading 55-0. We suppose the Tigers covered, but we are not really certain.
San Francisco traveled to Green Bay as a five-point dog. The 49ers' defense dominated throughout and posted a 30-22 upset win on the road.
Denver scored two touchdowns, in the final 10 minutes, to overhaul Pittsburgh 31-19, behind the play of Peyton Manning. The Broncos were a one-point favorite at home.
