Aaron Rodgers Hamming It Up At The Oscars
For sports fans tuning into Sunday’s 88th Academy Awards, a familiar non Hollywood face was on display throughout the evening, a face fans are far more accustomed to seeing either wearing a football helmet or pitching State Farm Insurance.
Green Bay Packers superstar QB Aaron Rodgers, who attended the event with girlfriend/actress Olivia Munn, was a hit on the red carpet with both celebrities and onlookers. Whether it was posing for pictures with fellow celebs, photo- bombing with rapper Common, or interacting with Packer fans in attendance, Rodgers appeared very comfortable in a setting that did not involve the risk of being sacked from his blindside.
As the old saying goes, “entertainers want to be athletes and athletes want to be entertainers.”
Rodgers, a Northern California native, spends much of his offseason in Southern California, living between his home in the north San Diego County city of Del Mar (110 miles south of the Dolby Theatre) and Munn’s Los Angeles home.
