Aaron Rodgers Says Hello To The Dalai Lama In India (Photo)

The Dalai Lama, himself. Twelfth son of the Lama. The flowing robes, the grace, bald... striking.

Lovers of the classic 1980 comedy “Caddyshack” will no doubt remember when Carl Spackler (played by Bill Murray) uttered this line upon describing the time he supposedly caddied for the Dalai Lama at a course in the Himalayas.

Now, courtesy of a photo posted to the Dalai Lama’s Instagram page, Packers superstar QB Aaron Rodgers can claim his own “Lama” story to share.

While visiting the Dalai Lama’s residence in Dharamshala, India (280 miles north of New Delhi), along with girlfriend/racing trailblazer Danica Patrick, the future hall of fame QB presented his host with both a Packers hat and an official NFL football.

Rodgers and Patrick are visiting India on behalf of the Starkey Hearing Foundation, a organization focused on providing hearing aids to those who may not have access to them.
