Adrian Peterson Places Minnesota Home On The Market (Photos)
After 10 mostly productive seasons with the Minnesota Vikings (only played one game in 2014 and three games in 2016), Adrian Peterson signed a two-year contract with the New Orleans Saints, last month.
During his time in Minnesota, Peterson rushed for 11,747 yards, amid scoring 102 total touchdowns, with 97 of which coming via the ground. Back in 2012, the Oklahoma alum earned NFL MVP honors, after rushing for an incredible 2,097 regular season yards.
Since the NFL schedule makers love a good storyline, Peterson and the Saints will visit US Bank Stadium to take on the Vikings, during the opening Monday night of the NFL season. Without question, fans and betters alike will pay close attention to this big Week 1 ESPN matchup.
Now that his days with the Vikings are over and done with, the 32-year-old native of Palestine, Texas has put his suburban Minneapolis home on the market for $695,000. Peterson has long spent his offseasons in Houston. But, during the season, he has called this 15-year-old abode home, dating back to his rookie campaign of 2007.
Located in the southwest Minneapolis suburb of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, the Peterson pad sits three miles southwest of the Vikings practice facility (Winter Park) and 17 miles southwest of downtown Minneapolis.
The three-story, 4,167-square-foot home features a three-car garage, five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a modern kitchen with island, an open concept kitchen/living room design and a Vikings themed man cave in the lower level, which is accompanied by a built in bar.
