An Advanced Tour Of The Vikings New U.S. Bank Stadium (Photos)

Monday, iFolloSports.com was provided a hardhat tour of the Minnesota Vikings brand new $1.061 billion U.S. Bank Stadium, located in downtown Minneapolis. The yet to be completed venue is scheduled to open its doors in late July. Prior to the Vikings playing their first preseason game on August 28, A.C. Milan and Chelsea F.C. will open up the building on August 3, followed by concerts featuring country music superstar Luke Bryan and hall of fame heavy medal band Metallica.

Looking a couple years down the line, the stadium is already scheduled to host Super Bowl LII in 2018 and the 2019 NCAA Men's Basketball Final Four.

Below is a photographical tour of the simply spectacular facility, courtesy of a series of iFolloSports.com original photos.

An end zone view of the field, along with the venue’s huge, partially opened windows providing a look at the Minneapolis skyline.

Even though the complex has a fixed roof, mass amounts of glass give U.S. Bank Stadium a very outdoor feel (especially during the day).

This is the non-glass portion of the roof. The outdoor exterior of this area is adorned with U.S. Bank Stadium signage, visible from the air.

A look at the movable seats that will make way for an outfield wall for some University of Minnesota college baseball games.

The east scoreboard, built on the opposite side of the skyline view.

The not yet completed Delta Sky360 Club, located on the field level, behind the Vikings bench and right next door to the Minnesota locker room.
