In the divisional round, the Patriots handled the Houston Texans 41-28, with the Ravens beating the Denver Broncos, in a dramatic 38-35 double-overtime victory.

This is the second consecutive year that these two teams have met in the AFC Championship Game. Last season, the Patriots won 23-20.

Over the years, the Patriots have had the Ravens number, winning five of the last seven contests. However, Baltimore did beat New England 31-30, in Week 3 of this season.

Tom Brady has an 11-2 career home playoff record at Gillette Stadium and the Patriots are 4-0 all-time in home AFC title games.

New England is looking to advance to the Super bowl for the sixth time since 2002, while the Ravens are hoping for their first trip since 2001.
