Analyzing The Chargers Next Moves Post Stadium Referendum Defeat

Tuesday, the San Diego Chargers quest for a brand new downtown stadium was dealt a serious blow, when voters soundly rejected Measure C, which would have raised local hotel taxes, in an effort to provide a portion of the funding for the stadium project. The referendum needed 66.7 percent support to pass, but only mustered 43 percent of the vote.
