Behind The Scenes Tour Of Spectacular SoFi Stadium In Los Angeles
After breaking ground more than four years ago and debuting amid a football season void of fans, SoFi Stadium has finally opened its doors to the public. With a vaccination awareness concert already in the books, a full Rams and Chargers home schedule in the queue and future events like Super Bowl LVI, the 2023 College Football Playoff National Championship, WrestleMania 39 (2023) and the 2028 Summer Olympics on the horizon, the $5 billion entertainment complex is now 100 percent open for business.
Sofi Stadium features 70,000 seats (expands to 100,000), 260 luxury suites, an adjoining 6,000-seat performance venue, as well as a bevy of clubs, lounges and gathering spots.
Behind the scenes, SoFi Stadium boasts of separate Rams and Chargers home locker-rooms, two visiting NFL locker-rooms that can transform into four smaller locker-rooms for events like the Final Four (northside of stadium) and performer dressing areas on the venue’s southwest end.
Nestled in the Los Angeles County city of Inglewood, California, three miles east of LAX, nine miles southwest of downtown LA and 11 miles south of Beverly Hills, the stadium and adjoining Hollywood Park real estate development sits in close proximity to the 405, 105 and 110 Freeways, as well as a soon-to-be completed metro transit station. The surrounding grounds will include office, residential, retail, dining and entertainment spaces, a luxury hotel and standalone casino, along with parks, playgrounds and a lake. Come 2024, the Clippers brand new arena will rest immediately to the south, with the remodeled Forum already sitting just north of the nearly 300-acre plot of land.
