Bill Belichick Might Just Be Human After All (Video)
Bill Belichick is arguably the best coach in NFL history, thanks to a résumé that includes five Super Bowl rings, amid eight total Big Game appearances. The 65-year-old is also known the world over for being gruff with the media and kind of intimating towards well everybody.
Though it may be hard believe, Belichick does possess a softer side, and this offseason he has done a few things that shows he can actually be likeable.
Here is Belichick joining the NFL Network’s Mike Mayock and lead anchor Rich Eisen, during the scouting combine. In addition to complementing Mayock’s work analyzing the draft, joking around about Deion Sanders' combine workout (Sanders later joined the conversation) and discussing Matt Patricia’s prospects with the Lions, the coaching icon presented Eisen with a donation to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
As it turns out, Belichick may just be human after all.
