Broncos & Raiders Are Heading In Completely Opposite Directions

Broncos winners of 7 in a row and 8 of their last 9Thursday night, the 3-9 Oakland Raiders host the 9-3 Denver Broncos in an AFC West contest. The Broncos enter the game red hot, winners of seven in a row and eight of their last nine. The Raiders, on the other hand, have dropped five in a row, putting them way out of contention for anything besides a high draft pick.

Peyton Manning has looked like his old self this year, throwing 29 touchdowns, while totaling 3,502 passing yards thus far. The Broncos have already clinched the AFC West title (for the second straight year) and now have a chance to obtain the second overall seed in the conference.

While the head-to-head series has been pretty even over the past few seasons, back in Week 4, the Broncos decisively beat the Raiders 37-6. When combining the Broncos winning streak and the Raiders free fall, Denver enters the NFL Network game with a very clear advantage.
