An Up Close Look At The Chargers First Costa Mesa Training Camp (Video)
Earlier this week, iFolloSports.com was on the ground at Los Angeles Chargers training camp in Costa Mesa, California. The recently relocated franchise is conducting camp at the Jack Hammett Sports Complex, on the grounds of Costa Mesa High School, across the street from Orange Coast College. The team is making use of the fields at Jack Hammett, while conducting all indoor efforts within the Orange Coast College athletic complex.
Once the regular season gets underway, LA will base their operation two miles up the road, at a temporary facility, just off the 405 Freeway and Coast Drive. The Chargers Costa Mesa training camp and regular season logistical setup sits 83 miles north of their former training camp and year-round headquarters of Chargers Park, located in close proximity to Qualcomm Stadium, the franchise’s longtime home venue.
Prior to the Chargers and Rams moving into their under construction Inglewood (CA) shared stadium in 2020, the former San Diego squad will play home games at the StubHub Center, located 27 miles north in Carson, California.
