Colin Kaepernick Has Placed His Bay Area Home On The Market (Photos)
This season, San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick has become a household name throughout the country for his well-publicized National Anthem protest, as well as a series of outspoken statements regarding a variety of controversial legal, political and societal issues.
On the field in 2016, Kaepernick has stated 8 games, going 0-8, while throwing 11 TD passes and 3 interceptions.
After leading the 49ers to the Super Bowl and NFC Championship Game, in each of his first two seasons as a starter, the Nevada alum’s production has tailed off significantly, with the Niners winning 8 games in 2014, 5 games in 2015 and just 1 contest this season. A once highly promising career has most certainly hit a crossroads.
While the 29-year-old QB’s life on the gridiron has no doubt changed, his life away from the game appears to be headed for a different level of transformation.
Kaepernick has listed his San Jose home for $2.895 million. He initially bought the property for $2.7 million in 2014.
Located in the city’s Silver Creek neighborhood, the 4-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom mansion features panoramic mountain and valley views, a screening room, office, bar, pool, spa and outdoor cooking space.
Kaepernick’s 4,600-square-foot estate sits 19 miles south of Levi’s Stadium/49ers practice facility, 12 miles south of downtown San Jose and 60 miles south of downtown San Francisco.
