Colts Fans Had A Very Annoying Day At Lucas Oil Stadium

Lucas Oli Stadium Retractable Roof IssuesLost in the Colts 20-16 home loss to the Titans on Sunday, amid their dismal 3-8 season minus Andrew Luck, was the extremely weird day that occurred at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Colts downtown Indianapolis venue has a retractable roof, which is only open for a few games a year. On Sunday, despite game time temperatures of around 50 degrees, Colts management elected to leave the roof open to the cool November air. While a 50-degree day in Indiana after Thanksgiving is not generally considered bad weather, it certainly can be a bit brisk to anyone not adequately prepared.

Per the Indianapolis Star, the Colts decision both confounded and angered a lot of fans who simply did not dress for the occasion. Some even questioned if controversial owner Jim Irsay did this in an effort to force patrons to buy more sweatshirts and/or other warm weather pieces of apparel.

It got even crazier into Monday, when the roof (which has experienced previous mechanical issues) only closed halfway, before eventually getting fixed.

In an already bad season for this suddenly unstable organization, last Sunday appears to be just another day at the office for the now laughable AFC South franchise.
