The High Flying Rams Are Finally Developing A Home Field Atmosphere | Photos
Last Thursday, iFolloSports.com attended the Week 4 nationally televised game between the Rams and Vikings, at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. This was an important game for the league, which many had circled prior to the season, as it was FOX and the NFL Network's first joint telecast. The contest lived up to the billing thanks to a very high scoring 38-31 Rams victory, moving them to 4-0.
The game generated a robust 10.7 overnight rating.
The event featured a festive college-like atmosphere, including many Vikings fans adorned in purple. Prior to the game, it was a big party in the surrounding Exposition Park, including live music and both fan bases tailgating throughout the surrounding area. The beautiful Southern California day and night provided ample sunshine early on, followed by a picturesque sunset and transition to darkness.
In addition to the aesthetics, it was abundantly clear how relevant the Rams and NFL have once again become in the Los Angeles area, with an announced attendance of 72,000 fans.
Here are several iFolloSports.com original photos, gathered during the course of the matchup. The Rams will move into their new Inglewood venue in 2020, with the USC Trojans continuing to play home games at the facility for the foreseeable future.
