Jameis Winston Purchases Beautiful Tampa Area Mansion (Photos)

Jameis Winston Odessa, Florida homeTampa Bay Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston has been a fixture on the national sports scene since 2013, though it seems like a heck of a lot longer. The 22-year-old’s résumé already includes a Heisman Trophy, BCS championship, being the top pick in the draft and earning rookie of the year honors. Winston of course has also found himself in the news for a variety of alleged and confirmed off the field transgressions.

The Florida State alum begins his second year in Tampa, after throwing 22 TD’s and rushing for another 6 scores, during his rookie season. After leading the franchise to a 4-win improvement in 2015, Winston and the Bucs hope to keep the train moving as the 2016 campaign beckons.

With the security of a four-year/$25.35 million deal in his back pocket, Winston has established some longer-term roots on Florida’s Gulf Coast.

The Alabama native recently became the owner of a 5,400-square-foot abode in the north Tampa suburb of Odessa, on the shores of Lake Keystone. The $1.195 million Mediterranean style pad contains 5 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, indoor and outdoor kitchens, a game room, theater, built-in bar, pool and lake access dock.

The Winston home sits 14 miles north of the neighborhood where both the Bucs practice facility and Raymond James Stadium are found, 20 miles north of downtown Tampa and 16 miles east of the Gulf of Mexico.
