JJ Watt Pearland Home Tour HomeHouston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt is widely considered to be the best defensive player in the NFL. Now in his sixth professional season, the Wisconsin alum has already earned defensive player of the year honors three times (2012, 2014, 2015), while leading the league in sacks on two occasions (2012, 2015).

In 2014, Houston rewarded the suburban Milwaukee product’s greatness with a six-year/$100 million contract extension.

Since 2011, Watt has resided in a 4,169-square-foot home, located in the Houston suburb of Pearland, 11 miles south of NRG Stadium and 15 miles south of downtown Houston.

Earlier this month, Watt placed his home on the market for $465,000.

Built in 2005, the 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom abode features a saltwater pool and hot tub, an outdoor (covered) kitchen, a modern indoor kitchen, as well as a game room. The pad sits along the shores of Pearland’s Lake Kelli.
