Last week, iFolloSports.com provided a behind the scenes glimpse at Kirk Cousins’ first 24 hours in Minnesota, which included a downtown Minneapolis dinner with Vikings brass, along with a tour of the team’s incredible new practice facility.
Monday, on his weekly MMQB column, Peter King chronicled the Cousins’ mega contract negotiation, from the point of view of the QB’s agent, the Chicago based Mike McCartney.
At the end of the day, Cousins’ decision appears to have come down to the Vikings and Jets, with Minnesota the clear first choice for both player and coach.
As a reminder, Cousins inked a fully guaranteed three-year/84 million contract with the defending NFC North champs.
