Larry Fitzgerald Appearance At Minneapolis Parks Event (Videos)

Monday afternoon, iFolloSports.com was on hand at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park, in south Minneapolis, as Arizona Cardinals' All-Pro wide receiver/Minneapolis native Larry Fitzgerald spoke to a group of youth football players and coaches. Fitzgerald discussed getting his start on those fields, learning the techniques and fundamentals that propelled him to present-day NFL stardom. Before running some drills on the football field, Fitzgerald also spoke about Riddell's donation of 1,000 football helmets to the Minneapolis Parks and Rec.

“I wanted you guys to have the same protection that I run out there with every Sunday, that I wear on my head, that you guys are wearing on yours,” explained Fitzgerald.

While in Minneapolis this week, Fitzgerald is participating in a series of workouts, led by renowned trainer Bill Welle. Cardinals' teammates, quarterback Carson Palmer and wide receiver Michael Floyd, are also taking part in the training, being held at the University of Minnesota.
