Madonna To Headline Super Bowl Halftime Show
By Bruce Tennen
It was revealed this week that the headliner of February's Super Bowl 46 halftime show in Indianapolis will be none other than Madonna.
The 53-year-old becomes the latest musical star from the past to perform during the widely viewed halftime. In the last decade, the NFL has chosen "blasts from the past" including Janet Jackson, Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Prince, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Bruce Springsteen and The Who.
The Black Eyed Peas were the NFL's choice for last season's Super Bowl at Cowboys Stadium, but with the selection of Madonna, the league has once again made the decision to rev up the time machine.
Let's just hope there are no "wardrobe malfunctions" this year.
