Manning Vs. Pryor Makes All The Difference In Denver Vs. Oakland

Monday night, the 1-1 Oakland Raiders visit the 2-0 Denver Broncos, in an AFC West rivalry game. Last week, the Raiders beat the Jaguars, while the Broncos handled the Giants in the “Manning Bowl,” 41-23.

The Broncos enter this contest winners of 13 straight regular season games and have beaten the Raiders three consecutive times. To make matters worse, the Raiders face a Broncos club that has scored 90 points in its first two games.

Monday's game also marks perhaps one of the most lopsided quarterback matchups in NFL history. Peyton Manning will make his 227th NFL start, amid a career where he has thrown 445 touchdown passes. In comparison, Raiders signal caller Terrelle Pryor is making his third NFL start and has all of one NFL touchdown passes on his résumé.

The Broncos are the overwhelming favorites, so if the Raiders win, it would be one of the biggest upsets in recent memory.
