Mark Ingram Spotted After Injury Return (Photo)

New Orleans Saints RB Mark Ingram hasn't quite had the NFL career either he or his team envisioned, after the Saints selected him with the 28th pick in the 2011 draft. A series of foot and hand injuries have continued to derail the 2009 Heisman Trophy winner's ability to stay on the field. Aside from the 2012 season, when Ingram appeared in all 16 games, the New Jersey native missed 10 games in 2011, 11 games in 2013 and already 3 games in 2014.

Sunday night, in Ingram's second game back from the hand setback, he rushed for an impressive 172 yards, with a TD, in NO's 44-23 win over the Packers.

Two Sundays ago, shortly after the Saints 24-23 loss to the Lions, the Alabama alum was spotted exiting Detroit's Ford Field, with iFolloSports.com Michigan correspondent Lance Martinez providing the above original photo.

The now 24-year-old Ingram spent his high school career, 70 miles to the north, in the areas of Grand Blanc and Flint, Michigan.
