Atlanta Falcons QB Matt Ryan is back in his hometown of Philadelphia for Thursday night’s NFL season opener against the Super Bowl champion Eagles.
Ryan grew up in the Philly suburb of Exton, 30 miles west of Lincoln Financial Field.
Ironically, Falcons backup QB Matt Schaub spent much of his youth in the city of West Chester, Pennsylvania, 27 miles west of the home of the defending champs and only six miles south of the previously mentioned town of Exton.
Below is a look at the pair of Philadelphia Matt's making their way to the field, in the hours leading up to the highly anticipated 2018 opener.
