New 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo Is Now The Toast Of The Bay Area (Video)

Though the 49ers’ 2017 season has been nothing short of abysmal, there are suddenly signs of hope in the Bay Area, thanks to the arrival of newly anointed franchise QB Jimmy Garoppolo.

The former Tom Brady backup is now 3-0 as San Francisco’s starter, after first-year general manager John Lynch traded a 2018 second-round pick to New England, in exchange for the 26-year-old signal caller. The deal was finalized on October 30.

During his three games running the Niners offense, Garoppolo has completed 68 percent of his passes, while providing a much-needed shot in the arm to both 49ers players and fans alike.

The Chicago area native had only started two games in his career, prior to taking the reigns for SF on December 3.
