NFL Championship Weekend & Upset Alert Recap

Jim Harbaugh vs John Harbaugh in HarBowl and Super BaughBrothers John and Jim Harbaugh both coached their teams to road victories, advancing Baltimore and San Francisco to Super Bowl XLVII. The Harbaugh brothers' teams outscored their opponents 35-0 in the second halves Sunday, in booking their respective tickets to New Orleans.

San Francisco was a 3.5-point favorite over Atlanta and rallied from 17-0 down, to a 28-24 victory.  It will be the 49ers first Super Bowl appearance since the 1994 season. San Francisco has a 5-0 record in Super Bowls.

New England was a 9.5-point favorite against Baltimore, but the Ravens dominated the Patriots 28-13, after trailing 13-7 at the half. Tom Brady is now 7-7 in his last 14 playoff games, after beginning his career 10-0. Joe Flacco threw three touchdowns for the more physical Ravens, who are 1-0 in Super Bowls, defeating the Giants 34-7, in January of 2001.

Will this year's game be known as the HarBowl or Super Baugh? Either way, it could be argued that this will mark the most anticpated sibling sports matchup since Venus versus Serena Williams. San Francisco opens up as a four-point favorite.

Both the 49ers and Ravens covered their respective point spreads, with the Ravens scoring the huge upset, thus giving us two wins for the weekend.
