Peyton Manning Signing Autographs At Camp (Video)
Peyton Manning has put together a spectacular career, making 12 Pro Bowls, while being named NFL MVP four times. The Super Bowl XLI champion's incredible stats include completing 5,082 passes, for 59,487 and 436 touchdowns.
Peyton did most of his damage as a member of the Indianapolis Colts (1998-2011). Manning was still on the Colts roster in 2011, but missed the entire season, as a result of a serious neck injury. With speculation that he would never play again and the Colts going in a different direction when drafting the highly touted Andrew Luck, with the first pick of the 2012 NFL Draft, the Colts and Manning parted ways.
After being heavily pursued by many teams, in the spring of 2012, Manning and the Denver Broncos agreed to a five-year/$96 million contract. In 2012, Manning did not disappoint (during the regular season), leading the Broncos to a 13-3 record, amid throwing 37 touchdowns and netting 4,659 passing yards. After a great season, the Broncos had a disappointing 38-35 overtime, home divisional playoff loss to the eventual Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens.
Manning, along with his dad (Archie Manning) and brother (Eli Manning), make up arguably the most iconic family in the history of the NFL. In addition, Peyton is one of the most significant pop culture figures in the US, when considering all of the products he endorses and the many commercials he continues to star in. The now 37-year-old is easily one of the most popular players to ever play the game.
Recently, per the above original video (submitted by a tipster), Manning provided Broncos fans with several minutes of his time, while signing autographs, after the conclusion of training camp practice.
Manning fans can also check out this iFolloSports.com original story, featuring Manning from earlier this summer, as a different tipster submitted a photo of himself and the QB at the 2013 Collaborate Marketplace Event, inside Denver's Colorado Convention Center. The tipster noted that Manning was really nice and extremely cordial, when interacting with those in attendance at the event.
