Rams Camp Up Close: Quinn, Ogletree, Barron (Video)

2016 marked the Rams triumphant return to Los Angeles, after the club spent 1995 through 2015 playing in St. Louis. While the team now bases itself in the northwestern LA suburb of Thousand Oaks, the franchise’s training camp and temporary game day venues provide an ode to days gone by.

Through at least next summer, the Rams will hold training camp on the Orange County campus of UC Irvine, located 14 miles southwest of Angel Stadium of Anaheim, the club’s home stadium from 1980 through 1994. In addition, until the Rams and Chargers joint Inglewood (CA) stadium opens in 2020, the Rams will take the field at the LA Coliseum, the franchise’s home from 1946 through 1979.

Ironically, the Rams and Chargers are currently holding their respective training camps only five miles apart from one another, with the now second LA team conducting business in nearby Costa Mesa.

Earlier this week, iFolloSports.com stopped through UC Irvine and gathered the below original videos featuring three of the Rams starting LB’s signing autographs.

Two-time Pro Bowler Robert Quinn has amassed 186 tackles and 54 sacks during his career. Due to injury, the South Carolina native has only played in a total of 17 games, during the last two seasons.

25-year-old Alec Ogletree led the Rams in tackles, during 2016, with a combined 136, establishing a career high for the Georgia native and UGA alum.

Mark Barron was second on the team with 118 total tackles. The 2012 first round pick (selected by the Bucs) won two national championships during his college days at Alabama.
