Richard Sherman's House Is Really Cool | Photos
Is there a figure in sports whose star has risen more than that of Richard Sherman? Good, bad, or indifferent, Sherman has turned himself into a modern-day Deion Sanders. Not since the glory days of “Primetime” has an NFL defensive back so quickly become a household name, quite in the way that Sherman has. The Stanford alum now finds himself on the top tier of NFL marquee attractions, a spot almost always associated with offensive players.
One of the great benefits of Sherman's superstar status involves the highfalutin lifestyle he now is able to enjoy. Amid inking a four-year/$56 million contract, the Compton (CA) native purchased a spectacular 9,435-square-foot mansion, located in the Seattle suburb of Maple Valley, 17 miles southeast of the Seahawks' Renton (WA) practice facility and 28 miles southeast of downtown Seattle.
Ironically, Sherman bought the 4.96-acre, 10-year-old property from Seattle native/Clippers guard Jamal Crawford, for a reported $2.3 million.
Richard Sherman's house in Maple Valley features 4 bedrooms (3 with private outdoor balconies), 6.25 bathrooms, a double kitchen, indoor pool, outdoor basketball court and a game room adorned with both a billiards and Ping-Pong table, as well as multiple arcade games and a wet bar.
