SoFi Slaps Its Name On The Incredible New LA Football Stadium
This weekend, after much speculation, it was officially announced that lending giant SoFi will serve as the title sponsor for the Rams and Chargers shared NFL stadium, located in the Los Angeles County city of Inglewood, California. The 70,000-seat football complex (and surrounding 300-acre mega development) is scheduled to open for business in time for the 2020 season.
Though the official dollar amounts have yet to be made public, it is believed that the 20-year pact will be worth in the neighborhood of $400 million.
While the Rams and Chargers will share the spectacular new LA football palace, the Rams will serve as the owners and operators of the new stadium, with the Chargers functioning strictly as a tenant.
