Jared Goff and Richard Sherman Mixing It Up | Video
Sunday, in what was supposed to be a hard-fought NFC West matchup, the Los Angeles Rams throttled the Seattle Seahawks 42-7, on the road in the Pacific Northwest.
The beaten up Seattle defense was no match for LA’s running game, with Todd Gurley and company rushing for a combined 244 yards. Gurley alone ran for 152 yards and 3 TD.
One of the most glaring of the Seahawks’ missing pieces involved the noted absence of all-pro CB Richard Sherman, who’s been out since November 9, after rupturing his Achilles tendon, during a Thursday night game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Below is video of the still there for his teammates Sherman shaking hands with Rams QB Jared Goff, shortly after the conclusion of LA’s decisive victory. Sadly for fans, a Richard Sherman Jared Goff matchup was just not to be.
For his part, the second-year Ram QB completed 14-21 passes for 120 yards, 2 TD and 1 INT.
LA now owns a 10-4 record, with Seattle sitting in second at 8-6.
Respect.
