Super Bowl 53 Team Hotels, Media, NFL and Fan Bases Of Operation For the third time ever and first time since 2000, the city of Atlanta is hosting America’s signature sporting extravaganza, when the Los Angeles Rams take on the New England Patriots, Sunday at 6:30 PM ET. An estimated one million people will make their way to the nation’s ninth largest metropolitan area, with the bulk of Super Bowl LIII activities occurring in the city’s downtown area. Below is a detailed breakdown of the Atlanta logistical operation, leading up to Sunday’s battle for NFL supremacy.



The two-year-old Mercedes-Benz Stadium is the host venue for Sunday’s big game. The 71,000-seat structure (expandable to 75,000) sits on the western edge of downtown Atlanta, immediately next door to the former site of the Georgia Dome. The $1.6 billion edifice is home to both the Falcons and the MLS’ Atlanta United FC, as well as the annual SEC Championship Game and Peach Bowl.


Los Angeles Rams Hotel & Practice Site

The NFC champs are lodging at the JW Marriott Atlanta Buckhead. The JW is found six miles north of downtown, in the city’s Buckhead district.

Jared Goff and pals are getting ready at the Falcons' Flowery Branch (GA) training complex, situated 37 miles northeast of the hotel and 43 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta.


New England Patriots Hotel & Practice Site

The AFC champs are calling the Hyatt Regency Atlanta home. Located in the heart of downtown Atlanta, the property sits 0.9 miles northeast of Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

League operations are based out of downtown’s Atlanta Marriott Marquis, across the street from the Hyatt Regency.


Media Headquarters/Radio Row

The roughly 5,000 credentialed media members will conduct their business at the Georgia World Conference Center, one block north of Mercedes-Benz Stadium.


Super Bowl Experience Driven by Hyundai

The interactive fan event is also taking place at the Georgia World Conference Center.

The outdoor fan village is going on at downtown’s Centennial Olympic Park.

ESPN has set up shop also at Centennial Olympic Park.
