Take A Tour Of The Vikings Spectacular New Headquarters (Video)

Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center TourTuesday, the Minnesota Vikings made what might be the NFL’s biggest offseason splash upon agreeing to terms on a three-year/$84 million fully guaranteed contract with former Redskins QB Kirk Cousins.

The new Vikings QB and his 2018 teammates will report to work at the brand new Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center, which officially opened its doors last week. The 277,000-square-foot facility will serve as both the Vikings football and business operational headquarters.

Located 16 miles east of the club’s former Eden Prairie, Minnesota HQ, the new Eagan, Minnesota complex sits on 33 acres of land, on the site of the former Northwest Airlines world headquarters. With the team owning an additional 170 acres of surrounding land, the now undeveloped parcels will likely become the future locations of commercial and residential structures, along with a hotel and Vikings Hall of Fame.

The Vikings’ new complex features four outdoor practice fields (includes 6,500-seat stadium for use during training camp and high school football), a 98-foot ceiling indoor field, state-of-the-art locker-room with fireplace, greatly expanded weight and training rooms (with hydrotherapy and -196 Fahrenheit cryo chamber), along with technologically advanced offices, meeting/film rooms and dining spaces.

Here is a video tour of the new Vikings HQ, which sits 12 miles southeast of US Bank Stadium, Minnesota’s downtown Minneapolis home field
