Texans & Packers Was Supposed To Be About Defense Vs. Offense

The Houston Texans host the Green Bay Packers Sunday night, fresh off their 23-17 victory over the New York Jets, last Monday night. The Texans are now 5-0.

Houston enters the game with the NFL's sixth ranked defense, which will be without linebacker Brian Cushing, who was lost for the season with a torn ACL.

On the other hand and to the surprise of many, the Packers have struggled this season, posting only a 2-3 record. Aaron Rodgers and the rest of the Packers have only shown a few glimmers of last year's 15-1 team.

In 2011, the Packers explosive offense was ranked third. This season, the 2010 Super Bowl champs are ranked a much more pedestrian seventeenth.

Green Bay is coming off a very disappointing loss, where the team blew an 18-point halftime lead to Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts.
