In a game that absolutely lived up to the hype, the New England Patriots defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 27-24, on a cold and rainy Sunday evening at Pittsburgh’s Heinz Field. The contest will best be remembered for the unbelievable final minute that featured a Pats TD with two-point conversion, a Steelers go-ahead touchdown reversal and a Ben Roethlisberger interception, with just five seconds remaining.
With this incredible game in the books, New England and Pittsburgh now share the top record in the AFC (11-3), with the five-time Super Bowl champs suddenly possessing the tiebreaker.
In the Patriots win, Tom Brady completed 22-35, for 298 yards, 1 TD and 1INT.
