A Tour Of The LA Chargers Training Camp | Video

Chargers Training Camp Is A Unique Combination of FacilitiesNow in their second season calling the Los Angeles area home, the Chargers have become closely associated with the Orange County city of Costa Mesa. While the franchise temporarily plays home games in Carson (30 miles northwest), in the lead up to moving into their shared Inglewood stadium in 2020 (38 miles northwest), Costa Mesa is the club’s undisputed base of operation.

The Chargers football and business headquarters exist at Costa Mesa’s Hoag Performance Center, with the club conducting training camp two miles south at Orange Coast College and the adjacent Jack R. Hammett Sports Complex, which is part of the Costa Mesa High School grounds.

The team utilizes the locker-room, weight and training facilities at Orange Coast College’s Fitness Complex, while using the two adjoining practice fields at the Hammett complex.

Below is a video tour of the training camp setup, which exists on each side of Costa Mesa’s Fairview Road.

During the course of camp, the Chargers players and coaches lodge at the Irvine Marriott, four miles east of the above location.
