Viking RB Latavius Murray Appearing On Minnesota Radio Show (Video)
Here is iFolloSports.com original video of Vikings running back Latavius Murray signing autographs, during a recent guest appearance on the weekly radio show “Vikings Country,” which airs during the NFL season.
“Vikings Country” rotates between different restaurants around the Twin Cities, with Murray serving as one of a few Vikings players slated for regular show appearances. This particular broadcast took place at The Lookout Bar & Grill, in the northwestern suburb of Maple Grove.
Now in his fifth NFL season (missed entire rookie year with injury), Murray was a sixth round pick of the Raiders in 2013, where he played his first four years. The Central Florida alum was a 2015 Pro Bowl selection, rushing for 1,066 yards and six touchdowns. In 2016, Murray rushed for 788 yards, along with a whopping 12 touchdowns, in just 14 games, 12 of which he started.
Last offseason, Murray was a free agent, with the Raiders moving in a different direction, when electing to bring in Marshawn Lynch. Murray then signed a three-year/$15 million contract with Minnesota.
The 27-year-old got off to a slow start in 2017, after having offseason ankle surgery, as well as due to the presence of rookie running back Dalvin Cook, But, after Cook tore his ACL in Week 4, Murray has seen a lot more playing time.
Sunday, Murray had by far his best game as a Viking, with 113 yards and a touchdown, in Minnesota’s 24-16 win over the Ravens. The Vikings now stand atop the NFC North Division, with a record of 5-2.
