Thielen just completed his fourth and best NFL season, tallying 91 catches, for 1,276 yards and 4 TD. These numbers helped earn the WR his first Pro Bowl appearance, as he was a big part of the Vikings 13-3 season, which ended with a loss to the Super Bowl champion Eagles in the NFC Championship game.

Thielen, who grew up in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota (200 miles northwest of Minneapolis) became one of the Vikings’ undisputed most popular players in 2017. His journey of being the undrafted local guy who made it big in the NFL also became a big national story.
