Vikings Sharrif Floyd Signing Autographs (Video)

Sharrif Floyd is a rookie defensive tackle for the Minnesota Vikings. Floyd, a University of Florida alum, was considered one of the best defensive linemen in the draft and a possible top five pick, after the NFL scouting combine. Despite this widely held belief, the Philadelphia native dropped all the way to the Vikings at 23. According to sources, the biggest reason for Floyd's fall was his short arms. The Vikings were pleasantly surprised and incredibly happy to select the 2012 First-team All-American and First-team All-SEC player.

During the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft, the Vikings captured many headlines, when drafting Floyd, defensive back Xavier Rhodes and trading three picks to get back into the first round to select wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson. Many experts gave the Vikings high marks for these very bold and aggressive moves.

Thursday night, per the above iFolloSports.com original video, Floyd made one of his first NFL autograph signing appearances at Fan HQ Sports Apparel And Collectables, in the Twin Cities suburb of Minnetonka, Minnesota. He drew a nice crowd, which not only included Vikings fans, but several Florida Gators enthusiasts as well. Floyd was very happy to write his signature on both Vikings and Gators memorabilia.
