Vikings Star Anthony Barr Promoting His Charity Steps From UCLA | Video

Saturday, Minnesota Vikings LB Anthony Barr appeared in the Westwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, a couple blocks from the campus of UCLA, the 25-year-old’s alma mater. Barr was on hand at the Sweetfin Poké eating establishment, on behalf of his Raise the Barr foundation. Raise the Barr’s mission involves assisting single mothers in their desire to further higher educational opportunities.

Below is original video of the two-time Pro Bowler arriving to the event, going into the kitchen to help prepare his food, then sitting down at an outdoor table to enjoy an early dinner.

Barr attended LA’s Loyola High School, before spending four years with the Bruins. After playing RB his first two seasons in Westwood, Barr transitioned to LB, a move that absolutely jumpstarted his path to the NFL.

During both his junior and senior campaigns, Barr was named First Team All-Pac-12, leading Minnesota to select him with the ninth pick in the 2014 draft. During his first three seasons in purple, Barr has averaged 69 combined tackles and 3 sacks.
