Here is iFolloSports.com original video of Vikings Pro Bowl defensive back Xavier Rhodes signing autographs, Tuesday evening, at a Piada Italian Street Food restaurant, in the Twin Cities suburb of Edina, Minnesota.
Fans were really excited to get their hands on a Xavier Rhodes autograph.
Rhodes, a Florida State alum, is now in his fifth NFL season. Entering Week 15, the Miami native has posted nine career interceptions, including two so far this season.
It can easily be argued that Rhodes does not have huge interception totals, because teams simply do not throw his direction. The 27-year-old has earned the nickname “Rhodes closed,” because he almost always shuts down the opposing team's top wide receiver.
Rhodes is a major part of the Vikings very stout third ranked defense, as he is easily one the best cornerbacks in the NFL.
During this past offseason, the Vikings rewarded Rhodes’ play with a five-year/$78.12 million contract extension.
