Week 1 Locker-room Sound: McVay, Reid, Zimmer | Video
Week 1 of the 2019 NFL season is officially in the books. Below is a look at the postgame speeches given by victorious head coaches Sean McVay, Andy Reid and Mike Zimmer, in the wake of the Rams, Chiefs and Vikings opening week triumphs.
The McVay and Reid sermons occurred in the visiting dressing spaces at Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium and Jacksonville’s TIAA Bank Field respectively.
Zimmer’s rhetorical efforts took place amid the spacious US Bank Stadium home locker-room.
On a side note, is there a better illustration of pro sports in 2019 than referencing three stadiums that all have the word “bank” in the title?
