Kopitar is back in action for LA, after missing five games with an upper-body injury. In 19 games this season, the 29-year-old center has posted 2 goals and 9 assists.
Now in his 11th season, Kopitar has amassed 245 goals and 450 assists, while serving as one of the key members of the Kings Stanley Cup title runs in 2012 and 2014. The 3-time All-Star has led the club in points in 9 of his 11 years, amid continuing to be one of the team’s most beloved players.
Last season, LA management further rewarded Kopitar’s efforts by signing him to an 8-year/$80 million contract extension
