Daniel Girardi Signing Before Game 1 (Video)

New York Rangers defenseman Daniel Girardi would probably like to forget how Game 1 of the 2014 Stanley Cup Final came to a conclusion. After turning over the puck, while attempting to clear it out of the Rangers zone, Girardi had the best seat in the house, as LA Kings center Mike Richards passed the intercepted puck to winger Justin Williams, who quickly notched the game winner. LA's 3-2 overtime victory was particularly difficult for New York to swallow, because the Blueshirts jumped out to an impressive 2-0, first period lead. For the game, Girardi logged 27:25 minutes of ice time, placing him second among NY skaters.

Three hours prior to the opening faceoff, the 30-year-old Ontario native was seen signing autographs, outside the JW Marriott Los Angeles LA LIVE, the Rangers' LA hotel, located across the street from Staples Center.

The Rangers split their time in LA between this downtown property and the Shutters on the Beach hotel in Santa Monica.

Per the above iFolloSports.com original video, Girardi was incredibly gracious, as he provided ample time for Kings and Rangers fans alike.
