Don Cherry Hanging With Fans In LA (Photo & Video)

It can easily be argued that Don Cherry is the John Madden of Canada. Both men put together stellar coaching careers, before becoming the most well-known and colorful commentators of their nation's most prominent sport. At 80-years-old, Cherry's clout is as strong as ever, as he continues to express his unique opinions and wardrobes, to the NHL fans of Canada, via his platform on CBC's “Hockey Night in Canada.” Love him or hate him, the former Boston Bruins coach is an undisputed legend.

Friday, shortly after the Los Angeles Kings concluded a 2014 Stanley Cup Final off day practice, at the Toyota Sports Center (LA's El Segundo (CA) training complex), Cherry was besieged by fans, as he made his way to an awaiting Town Car.

Per the above original photo, and as can be seen via this original video clip, Cherry was incredibly gracious, as he provided folks with an unlimited amount of autographs and photos.

Dressed to the nines, as usual, Cherry's attire included shirt cuffs, with the letters “DC” prominently monogrammed. Amazing!
