Drew Doughty's MLB Loyalty Remains In CAN (Video)

Los Angeles Kings defensemen Drew Doughty was the second overall pick in the 2008 NHL Draft. Three years later, the Kings awarded Doughty an 8-year/$56 million contract.

It appears safe to say that the LA front office has been more than thrilled with how their decision to select Doughty has turned out.

Now in his fourth season, Doughty's résumé includes being named to the NHL's All-Rookie team, becoming the youngest player ever to be nominated for the Norris Trophy (NHL's top defensemen) and winning an Olympic gold medal for his native Canada, during the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.

Tuesday, one day prior to Vancouver's 3-1 Game 4 victory at Staples Center, Doughty stopped to sign autographs and say hello to Kings fans, outside of the Toyota Sports Center (TSC), the team's El Segundo (CA) practice facility.

Wearing a Blue Jays hat, which represents his native Ontario, Doughty's interaction with fans can be seen per the above iFolloSports.com original video.

In addition, here is iFolloSports.com original video of the Canucks off day practice from inside the TSC, including a couple up close clips of the Sedin brothers in action.
