Thursday night, the Detroit Red Wings open up their first round playoff series at the Tampa Bay Lightning. 2015 marks Detroit's 24th straight postseason appearance, the current longest streak in the NHL. The Red Wings stand 5 years away from tying the all-time mark, set by the Boston Bruins from 1968-1996.
