The Most Powerful Man In DC Sports Spotted In LA

Wednesday, Washington DC multiple sports franchise owner Ted Leonsis was seen exiting a white Rolls Royce, in the driveway of The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles, located in downtown LA. The 58-year-old former AOL executive is the founder, chairman and CEO of Monumental Sports & Entertainment, the owning company of the Captials, Wizards and Mystics, as well as all these team's home arena, downtown DC's Verizon Center.  The Brooklyn native/Potomac, Maryland resident purchased the Caps in 1999 and became majority owner of the Wiz and Mystics in 2010.

In addition to his connection with the NHL, NBA and WNBA, Leonsis served as the vice chairman for Washington's ill-fated bid to host the 2024 Summer Olympics.
