Marcus Camby Spotted At Beverly Hills Bank

An iFolloSports.com contributor passed along an encounter he had with New York Knicks center Marcus Camby, while both men were conducting business at a Beverly Hills Bank of America branch (located at Wilshire Blvd. and Beverly Dr.), during last Friday afternoon. Camby and the Knicks were in Los Angeles for a three-day stretch, leading up to last Sunday's nationally televised game versus the Los Angeles Clippers, at Staples Center. Per usual, New York elected to stay in the city of Beverly Hills, basing themselves at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, situated one block west of the bank.

The contributor noted that the casually dressed Camby was a really nice guy, with the two men discussing the Knicks injury situation, particularly the recent health issues that caused Amar'e Stoudemire, Carmelo Anthony and Tyson Chandler to miss the subsequent game with LA.

Now in his seventeenth NBA campaign, Camby must really enjoy making visits to the bank, considering that the big man has grossed nearly $130 million, throughout the duration of his career. The Hartford (CT) native (who is averaging 2.0 PPG, 3.6 RPG, 0.7 BPG in 2012-13) signed a three-year/$13 million contract with the Knicks, prior to this season.

In Sunday's 93-80 loss to the Clippers, Camby played 22 minutes, posting 1 point and 4 rebounds.
