Adam Wainwright At All-Star Parade (Photo & Video)

St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright gave up 3 hits and 3 earned runs (including a HR), in his only inning of duty as the starting pitcher for the National League, in the 2014 MLB All-Star Game. But, as has been widely discussed in the hours since Tuesday's game, it was the comments that would later come out of Wainwright's mouth that would turn out to be the defining tale of the righty's experience in Minneapolis.
Whether he did indeed deliver a couple “pipe shot” pitches to Derek Jeter will continue to be a source of debate among media and fans, despite Jeter not appearing to be bothered by the possibility, one way or the other. Either way, Wainwright's third All-Star appearance will no doubt rank as a forgettable one for the 32-year-old St. Louis star hurler.
A few hours prior to the controversy, Wainwright was seen waving to the crowd, during the very early stages of the All-Star Red Carpet Parade, which began outside the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis.
